You are a top maritime professional with 15+ years of experience in inland and/or ocean towing. You are looking for a new and unique challenge to put your accumulated experience to work.
Robson Forensic, a longstanding national forensic expert firm with an excellent reputation in the legal and scientific community, is looking for an Inland or Ocean Tug & Towing Specialist with significant inland (rivers) and/or ocean towing experience.
As an investigative consultant, you will provide investigations, analysis, reporting, and testimony in legal cases involving fleeting and inland river and/or ocean transportation related incidents. This is a unique opportunity to transition from hands-on marine operations into a highly respected maritime consultant role supporting litigation matters and other investigations in the maritime sector.

FL, GA, NV, OH, PA, TX
DESCRIPTION:
You will investigate maritime incidents involving towing operations.
You will analyze tug, tow, and barge handling procedures.
You will prepare written expert reports.
You will testify in depositions and court.
You will collaborate with attorneys and other technical experts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Your college degree is preferred.
You have experience (15+ years) operating towing vessels (inland and/or ocean).
You have a valid USCG license (Master or Mate) with towing endorsement or similar professional background.
You have a thorough understanding of navigation, towing safety, and Coast Guard regulations and industry practices.
You can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
You have excellent technical and analytical skills.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
You are willing to travel about 20% on average.
Candidates must pass a drug, background, and reference check.
