Job Title: Plastic Injection Molding Production Technician

Job Description

The Production Technician is responsible for setting up molds using precise processes and tools across a variety of machines. This role involves printing work orders, viewing the production schedule, managing mold cycles, troubleshooting basic equipment failures, performing preventive maintenance, responding to machine alarms promptly, and reporting irregularities to the Team Lead or Lead Tech.

Responsibilities

Set up molds in various machines using precise processes and tools.

Print work orders and view the production schedule.

Learn and manage mold cycles efficiently.

Troubleshoot basic equipment failures.

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment for upcoming work orders.

Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner.

Report any irregularities, such as high scrap rates, to the Team Lead or Lead Tech.Essential Skills

2+ years of experience operating injection mold machines.

1+ year of experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance work.

1+ year of experience in injection mold setup, including setting molds in machines and running first articles.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in operation, assembly, general production, clean room environments.

Familiarity with medical assembly and injection mold operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean room manufacturing company, within a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled facility. The environment is welcoming and supportive, with a dress code requiring safety gear such as booties, masks, safety glasses, and restrictions on jewelry and makeup. Shifts are structured as 2/2/3, with 12-hour shifts alternating between day and night schedules, offering every other weekend off. Additional shift differentials apply.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BALDWIN, Wisconsin.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $38.00/hr.
