Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can perform G&M code edits, setups, tool changes, and manual machining on industrial pumps. The successful candidate will engage in both CNC and manual machining, with a focus on performing G&M code edits rather than programming from scratch.

Responsibilities

Perform CNC machining and manual machining tasks.

Edit G&M codes and make necessary adjustments.

Set up machines and change tools as required.

Interpret blueprints and make part offsets to precise specifications.

Load programs to machines and make minor edits for specific jobs.Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years of CNC milling experience.

Proficiency in adjusting and changing tooling for specified jobs.

Ability to set tool length and part offsets to precise specifications.

Capability to load programs and make minor G&M edits.

Minimum of 2 years of manual machining experience, preferably with Bridgeport machines.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Fadal and Samsung CNC machines.

Familiarity with writing and editing Mastercam/Worknc programs.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial and non-climate controlled. The position offers a first shift opportunity from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, with half days on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Park, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
