Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist – Hybrid Tempe, AZ
$24–$26/hr Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM In Office for Training, Hybrid After
We’re hiring an Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to join a reputable and well-established corporate team in Tempe. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of recent A/R & credit experience looking to grow in a structured, professional environment.
The role starts with on-site training, then transitions to a hybrid schedule—Tuesdays through Thursdays in office, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
What You'll Do:
Manage day-to-day accounts receivable activity and ensure timely payments from customers
Review and monitor open balances and aging reports
Work with customers to resolve billing issues and follow up on outstanding invoices
Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend/monitor credit limits
Collaborate with billing, cash application, and finance teams to ensure accuracy and timely account updates
Support reporting for AR and credit activity; escalate problem accounts when necessary
Help evaluate collectability and recommend appropriate actions on delinquent accounts
What We’re Looking For:
2–4 years of recent experience in accounts receivable or credit in a corporate environment
Comfortable managing a high volume of accounts with strong attention to detail
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
Intermediate Excel skills (basic formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
Clear, professional communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach
Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Schedule & Pay:
Monday through Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
In-office training required; hybrid schedule after (remote Mondays & Fridays)
Pay: $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience
