Controls Project Manager

Talascend is currently seeking a Controls Project Manager for an opportunity located in Auburn Hills, MI.

The Controls Manager will support global planning, execution, and program coordination for Controls & Software platform solutions across Engines, Transmissions, Hybrids, Batteries, Charging Systems, and eMotor ECUs.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide feasibility and cost assessments for Controls & Software integration into vehicle programs

Act as the primary interface between Controls Systems (Controllers & SW) and the Propulsion Systems community

Coordinate Controls feature development and define feature rollout plans aligned with program milestones

Lead change management, quality assessment, and risk mitigation efforts

Collaborate closely with internal and cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Minimum 7 years of engineering experience (5 years automotive required)

Background in Controls/SW development, testing, or calibration a plus

Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills

Proactive, accountable, and able to work both independently and within a collaborative team

Self-starter with confidence and the ability to drive initiatives forward
