Responsibilities

Respond to emergency situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.

Administers and/or ensures that medications and/or treatments are given according to physician's orders.

Makes routine and special rounds, keeping aware of residents' condition and special needs.

Reviews and documents all nurse's notes in residents medical record, and responds accordingly to indicated changes in resident status or needs.

Qualifications

San Antonio, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.

Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Texas.

Current CPR certification.

Great communication & management skills.

Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.

Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Extensive knowledge of basic health care procedures.
