About the position

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, delivering, and supporting enterprise imaging solutions that meet the complex needs of healthcare organizations. As a Solutions Engineer, you will:

Design & Deliver tailored enterprise imaging solutions that align with complex clinical workflows and healthcare IT environments.

Lead Technical Strategy in pre-sales efforts-developing solution architectures, supporting sales site visits, and assisting in customer-facing presentations.

Support RFPs by working closely with the sales team to complete technical responses-especially those related to enterprise imaging, infrastructure, and workflow design.

Guide Deployments by reviewing system designs, validating infrastructure, and ensuring technical readiness ahead of implementation.

Drive Workflow Innovation by advising on encounter-based imaging designs for POCUS, Eye Care, Dermatology, Wound Care, and similar specialties.

Own Optimization by identifying performance improvements and incorporating best practices and emerging technologies.

Bridge Teams by translating customer needs into technical solutions and coordinating with internal stakeholders across departments.

Enable Growth through internal technical training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing.

Represent Sectra at industry conferences, sales meetings, and customer engagements-building trust through technical credibility.

Travel up to 50%, including occasional weekends, to support critical pre-sales and readiness activities. As a Solutions Engineer, the following requirements apply:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in healthcare IT with a focus on imaging systems, solution design, or technical sales support.

Proven experience with encounter-based imaging workflows in specialties like POCUS, Eye Care, Dermatology, or Wound Care.

Strong knowledge of medical imaging standards and tools: DICOM, HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, and PACS/VNA architectures.

Familiarity with virtualized and cloud environments, including infrastructure planning and optimization.

Strong communication skills with the ability to support demos, assist in presentations, and speak confidently in technical discussions.

Comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Self-driven, organized, and eager to grow into an architect-level role.

Willingness to travel up to 50%, including occasional weekends. How we make your job meaningful and rewarding
