About The Position

Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years recent experience required License: Ohio state license required, IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ within 3 business days of job acceptance Certifications: Board Certified, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - Available for nights and weekends - ABMS/AOA IM/FM board certification required - COVID vaccination required Description: Emergency Medicine provider needed for a busy emergency department. Provider must be available for a minimum of 5 shifts a month, preferably 8-10. Shifts are from 8 PM to 8 AM or 8 AM to 8 PM. The emergency department has an annual volume of 18,527 visits. The department sees 15-20 patients per shift per provider. The facility has a total of 11 beds and offers fast track services. The provider will oversee advanced practice providers. The emergency physician will write orders for admissions and manage patient care. Collaboration with consultants including radiologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, urologists, and hematologists/oncologists is expected. Malpractice coverage must be included in the hourly rate.
