Routinely uses molds and presses in the production process to produce first part and regular production parts in a timely manner with minimal to no supervision. This position will routinely work on manufacturing assignments per written procedures where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. This position requires an ability to get along well with co-workers within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate press machine to create parts using molds.

Clean and prime parts with appropriate chemicals and solutions.

Measure stock to ensure correct thickness and length.

Place a variety of materials by hand in molds, on the mandrel, or in build fixtures.

Weigh stock and scrap for salvage.

Monitor production for defects and ensure early detection.

Use production equipment and tools, such as calipers and scales, regularly.

Complete materials handling recordkeeping according to company and ISO standards.

Follow internal safety policies and procedures at all times.

Maintain a clean and safe work area, including setup and cleanup at the start and end of the shift.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Working or Production Lead, Planner, Production Supervisor, and/or Module Manager.Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment with variable conditions including temperature instability and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or vapors. Exposure to solvents and other industrial chemicals is part of the work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $21.00/hr.
