Responsibilities of this position include:
Determines patient level of severity and priority.
Responds to Medical Emergency/Rapid Response Alerts
Adheres to MSE/EMTALA requirements.
Assists provider with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) and moderate sedation.
Assists Law Enforcement with acquiring legal blood samples.
Meets mandatory reporting requirements for neglect, abuse, and domestic violence.
Completes age-appropriate assessments for neonatal through geriatric patients.
Develops and implements a plan of care for each patient, including appropriate utilization of resources.
Visually observes and interprets alterations in physiological and psychological status of all patients.
Provides holistic nursing care that incorporates family involvement.
Promptly updates physicians and family of relevant patient status changes.
Accurately documents patient data and care provided in the patient's medical record.
Collaborates with members of the medical staff to provide quality patient care. Requirements of this position include:
Associates degree required
Bachelors degree preferred
Current RN license to practice in the State of Wisconsin upon hire; BLS (required); ACLS, PALS, NRP certification (if applicable to specialty area). Benefits:
