Tooling Setter & Adjuster Operator, works with a variety of measuring instruments, polishing machines, cleaning solvents, and others manuals tools that are used to clean, polish and set up the tooling used at the manufacturing process. The duties include clean, polish, adjust, measure and inspect the tooling used at the manufacturing process.
Job Responsibilities
Maintenance of tooling used at the manufacturing process.l Clean and inspect for defects the surface of the toolingl Select the rigth type and size of tooling according to the production requirementsl Measure the tooling, adjust and calculate the theoretical Diameter & Wall thickness of the productl Record the measurements and send the tooling to productionl Verify the Diameter & Wall thickness of the productl Make the inventory of the tooling at the warehousel Prepare new set of tooling for the diferent processesl Identify, segregate and recor all the qualified & unqualified toolingl Problem Solving according to the tooling performance at the production processl Following safety procedures and regulationsl Collaborating with engineers, supervisors and other team membersl Perform Crane & Forklift Operation Development of new procedures, work instructions, formats, checklist or any administrative paperwork necessary to control the manufacture and quality of the product.Follow Up all the Technical Process Parameters and Product Technical SpecificationsWork with the company's ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Any other activity or responsibility assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
Job Qualification
Education High school or GED
Certification
Work Experience At least 1 year of experience as a Tooling Setter & Adjuster Operator
Skills Familiarity with Measuring tools as micrometer, bore gages, calipers, etc. Knowledge of how to operate polishing machines and others manuals tools. Math skills to take precise measurements and make calculations Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specificationsCrane & Forklift Operation Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process Ability to move roughly 50 to 75 pounds and remain stationary throughout a shift Understanding of health and safety regulations to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
Work Environment A Tooling Setter & Adjuster Operator must remain standing and walking 80% of the time.
Language: Bilingual English- Spanish Preferred.
