What You Will Do
Enjoy working independently for significant portions of the day and week, while also collaborating in virtual client and internal team meetings.
Be ready to use your “thinker” and step outside the box! This role is a mix of financial leadership, client success, and bookkeeping oversight. You must be flexible and ready to jump in wherever needed to be successful in this role. We by no means are saying you must be a master at everything, but we are saying you must be passionate about showing up as your best self and ready to be the success story. We are a team. Initially, large portions of this role will be bookkeeping that require data entry and repetitive steps. However, there is also an opportunity in every step you take to evaluate whether it is optimal, elevate your role and grow the team. We are interested in constant
improvement, and you should be interested and feel comfortable in helping us continue to evolve.
Take ownership of accounting and bookkeeping processes while always looking for ways to improve and optimize them.
Lead, mentor, and grow your own team to support company expansion and streamline financial operations.
Partner with the Business Manager to ensure client success and seamless financial workflow execution.
Build strong relationships with clients—getting to know them beyond just the numbers and ensuring they feel supported.
Act as the liaison between clients, team members, strategic collaborators and outsourced contractors, making sure communication flows smoothly.
Handle client onboarding and financial reporting.
Support financial reporting, payroll administration, and government RFP submissions.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency and scalability.

At least three years' experience in the accounting or bookkeeping field.
Proficiency in cloud-based software Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks Online, Zoom, and Google Drive.
Strong leadership and management skills with a passion for building and growing teams.
Experience supervising financial operations for multiple service-based businesses.
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8a to 4p EST - Flex hours offered.
