Job Description
We are seeking a PreConstruction Manager with 2–3 years of civil engineering design experience to join our growing real estate development team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to take the next step in their career, transitioning from technical design into a broader development leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate preconstruction activities for residential and commercial projects
Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, and city departments to drive entitlement, permitting, and utility approvals
Manage and review site planning, grading, drainage, and utility layouts
Evaluate zoning regulations, platting requirements, and infrastructure capacities
Prepare development feasibility analyses and assist in budgeting for sitework
Support design consultants in producing construction documents aligned with development goals
Track and report on milestone schedules and regulatory submittals
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
2–3 years of experience in site civil engineering design (residential or commercial projects)
Working knowledge of permitting processes and municipal regulations in Texas
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
EIT or PE license not required
