Material Handler

Job Description

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a large-scale logistics repair and engineering company that services the world’s largest telecommunications and cable providers. We are hiring immediately for MATERIAL HANDLERS in this CLIMATE CONTROLLED facility in Grove City, Ohio

1st shift hours are 7am – 3:30pm with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour

2nd shift hours are 3:45pm – 12:15am with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour

MATERIAL HANDLER Job Summary

Load and unload trucks

Repeated and consistent heavy lifting throughout the shift

Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts and unit condition.

Maintain satisfactory Quality performance levels.

Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare units for production.

Data entry to systems via PC and RF handheld devices.

Perform tasks in a high-speed, high-volume environment.

Ability to meet or exceed daily production goals at 80% or higher.

Put away and pull equipment and/or parts.

Maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Ability to use material handling equipment such as a pallet jack.

Other duties as assigned.

MATERIAL HANDLER Qualifications

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Great attendance is a mus.t

Ability to learn new skills and follow instructions.

Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. and stand for entire shift.
