Job Description
The Director, Business Operations is responsible for establishing and maintaining financial and administrative support in collaboration with the Chief of Surgery and nursing leadership for perioperative services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Designs procedures and methodologies for revenue reporting and the efficient delivery of high-quality patient care.
Establishes and monitors productivity and quality assurance protocols to ensure procedures meet regulatory standards and best practices.
Analyzes operational data to assess metrics and make informed decisions.
Responsible for fiscal management, including financial reports, budgets, labor efficiency analysis, cost, revenue and reimbursement analysis, and contracts.
Develops and implements strategic plans for the growth of perioperative services.
Optimizes patient flow through perioperative services to minimize delays and enhance patient satisfaction.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and patient experience to implement initiatives to improve and sustain overall patient experience.
Works closely with all members of perioperative services to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Fosters a positive work environment encouraging professional development and teamwork.
Assists perioperative services leadership with hiring, training and performance evaluations of team members.
Education:
Master’s degree in health administration or business administration required
Experience:
Five years of surgical administrative and operational oversight required.
Seven years of proven high performance healthcare operational oversight may be considered in lieu of specific surgical experience. Company Description
