CDL Class A driver

Lingo Staffing is looking to hire an experience Class A CDL driver for a construction supply company in East Hartford, CT!

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver with hands-on experience operating Boom Trucks and Moffett (Truck-Mounted Forklift) equipment. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of materials to various job sites and customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service, and a thorough knowledge of DOT regulations and proper load handling.

The responsibilities of the Class A driver are:

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, Boom Trucks, and Moffett forklifts

Load and unload materials using Boom or Moffett as required

Deliver materials to customer sites in a timely and professional manner

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and mechanical soundness

Properly secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards

Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery records

Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and job site personnel

Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Assist with equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed

Follow all company, state, and federal safety guidelines

The qualifications/requirements of the Class A driver are:

Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record

Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience required

Proven experience operating Boom Trucks and Moffett forklifts

Current Boom and Moffett operator certifications (preferred, or willingness to obtain)

Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety requirements

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Excellent communication and customer service skills

High school diploma or equivalent
