Test Engineer – LabVIEW Manager – ~$115K Base + Bonus – Danbury, CT (Direct Hire)

Location: Danbury, Connecticut

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Compensation: ~$115,000 base + bonus (flexible based on experience)

In this role, you'll design and implement custom automation, data acquisition, and control systems used in a state-of-the-art testing lab.

This is a unique opportunity to lead end-to-end development of test infrastructure, while working hands-on with both software and electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement automation and process control systems for product testing.

Lead the design and implementation of data acquisition systems supporting lab infrastructure.

Develop software and graphical user interfaces using National Instruments LabVIEW.

Create and maintain system specifications, documentation, and technical standards.

Oversee the design, assembly, and implementation of electro-mechanical and data collection systems.

Translate system requirements into fully verifiable solutions through commissioning and testing.Qualifications:

LabVIEW proficiency is required (minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience).

5+ years of engineering development experience in test or automation environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Strong understanding of electrical design principles and electro-mechanical systems.

Experience with variable frequency drive programming and control wiring.
