This role will drive the design and delivery of scalable, modern integration solutions while overseeing integrations operations. As a key partner in our technology organization, you will define best practices for integration architecture, enable cross-platform data exchange, and work across teams to uplift from McLeod Datafusion integration into a modern integration platform, ensuring business continuity and improved capabilities.

Essential Duties

Own the end-to-end integration architecture strategy, focusing on building secure, scalable API ecosystems that align with business and platform goals.

Design and implement scalable backend systems supporting real-time logistics operations across global markets.

Build high-performance APIs serving millions of daily requests from internal systems, partners, and AI/ML models.

Develop and maintain EDI systems for seamless communication with suppliers carriers, and logistics partners.

Design and implement API-first integration patterns, ensuring consistency, reusability, and high availability across internal and external data flows.

Lead and manage relationships with EDI managed service providers, including operational oversight, SLA performance, and long-term vendor strategy.

Collaborate closely with Product, Infrastructure, and Analytics teams to define integration requirements, ensuring seamless cross-functional data access.

Develop and maintain standards, documentation, and governance models for APIs and EDI, including versioning, authentication, and error handling.

Drive the modernization of legacy integrations by uplifting them into API-based or event-driven frameworks where appropriate.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams, fostering integration capability maturity and upskilling team members.

Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms (e.g., Azure API Management, Azure Integration Services) to support the integration roadmap.

Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for integration-related issues across TMS, ERP, and partner systems.

Stay current with emerging integration trends and technologies (REST, GraphQL, EDI X12, AS2, etc.) and proactively identify opportunities for innovation.

Other duties as assigned.
