Technical Program Manager (Contract for Client) SIGMA DESIGN has collaborated with an Aerospace/Telecommunications company seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join their facility in Kirkland, WA.

This position is a contract role with an expected duration of 5 months with likelihood to extend.

You'll be instrumental in coordinating day-to-day activities, tracking progress, and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities: Assist in coordinating and tracking projects and updating relevant documentation.
Sharing the plan of the day across several teams and updating status of progress throughout the day for all stakeholders to consume Sharing a summary of what has been completed at the end of the day across multiple systems Manually maintaining embedded software manifests across multiple systems Maintaining a list of issue tickets across multiple test campaigns with accurate status Managing the onboarding and access requests for contractor workers supporting the team Capturing test progress status throughout the day across several teams Help with the research, writing, and review of policy and procedure documentation to support Kuiper's compliance with global ISP obligations.
Set daily agendas in Slack, follow up on action items, and ensure clear communication across teams to keep everyone aligned.
Assist in identifying opportunities to optimize manual processes and support the implementation of solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Education and Experience: (Knowledge, skills, & abilities) Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
4+ years of experience in program management or a related role, with a background in engineering preferred.
Detail tracking, ability to report status clearly, willingness to maintain manual reporting mechanisms.
Familiarity with PM tools such as Confluence, Jira, and SmartSheet.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with various teams.

Work Environment: Standard office environment with normal office related conditions.
