The candidate will join an existing team that is developing new web-based applications for use throughout the agency.
The ability to quickly get up-to-speed on in-flight work is critical.
Attention to detail and ability to meet the needs of multiple stakeholder groups and challenges posed by competing priorities, as part of a team, are also important for this role.
Prior experience with the development of Security applications is helpful.
This position requires knowledge of and strong experience with Microsoft Web application architecture, development software, tools and environment such as ASP.NET, Java Script, Web Services, jQuery, C#, and HTML in a Microsoft Web development environment using components such as IIS, DB2/Oracle, Okta, GitHub Enterprise, and Relational Database Management Systems.
The candidate should have strong experience with full stack development, REST APIs, Okta, OAuth and Open ID Connect.
The team uses GitHub and Jira for managing tasks and code, so familiarity with these tools is helpful.
The candidate should also have experience writing custom SQL, coding for authentication, using LDAP, integrating 3rd party connections, and test-driven development and automated testing methodology.
Project duties will include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, deployment activities, and production support.
