Construction Project Engineer
We are seeking new graduates, recent graduates, or those with up to 5 years of experience, who possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management or similar discipline wanting an exciting and rewarding career in Construction Management. This position involves assisting Gordon Prills on-site construction Project Managers and Superintendents with the day-to-day operation of managing construction of a variety of industrial, institutional, lab and office projects. For motivated candidates, this position can be a precursor to early advancement towards becoming an Assistant Project Manager or Superintendent.

Maintain up-to-date As-builts and Red-Lines
Meeting Minutes
Site Management
Subcontractor Site Orientation
Site Logistics Planning & Execution
Access Control
Housekeeping, Staging, Material Handling
Subcontractor and Client relations
Attend & Participate in Weekly Owner Architect Contractor Meetings
Attend & Participate in Weekly Subcontractor Coordination Meetings
General communication & correspondence with project Stakeholders
Jobsite Safety
Implementation of Gordon Prills Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP)
Implementation of Subcontractors IIPP
Implementation of Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP)
Daily / Weekly Safety Inspections
Attend / Participate in / Conduct Subcontractor Safety Meetings
Implementation of Gordon Prill Code of Safe Practices
Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Monitor, measure, document quality assurance program
Scheduling
Track Master Project Schedule
Develop & Track Rolling Schedules
In addition, this position includes working with in-house Architects, Engineers, Estimators and Senior Management on pre-construction and purchasing associated with new projects and potential project opportunities.
