Systems Engineer - Bash, Python, Linux

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our rapidly growing team!

Description

The System Engineer shall provide continuous monitoring, testing, system administration, program management, and ISSO support for multiple large Linux mission systems. The System Engineer shall be responsible for maintaining the operational security posture for an information system to ensure information security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.

Position Required Skills

Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python

Experience with basic Linux system administration

Experience with continuous monitoring of multiple mission critical systems in a Cloud or on-prem enclave Linux environment

Experience maintaining operational security posture for an information system

Experience using the Agency's suite of corporate tools to report/track mission systems security information including LatteArt, Xacta, SEAR, Biscotti, UAM, CYBORGBUNNY, etc.

Experience preparing documentation for System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs), and Certification and Accreditation packages

Experience using Git Source Control System Position Desired Skills

Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools including Confluence and Jira

Qualifications

An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $150K - $200K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
