As a Lead Controls Engineer, you will be part of an inclusive team of experts from various disciplines, including software, hardware, and network engineering. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining and optimizing our Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Train and guide internal teams on BMS and EPMS system management, including design, installation, and operation.
Provide technical support throughout the lifecycle of AWS data centers, addressing maintenance results and action items.
Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets for BMS and EPMS improvements.
Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring alignment with scope and timelines.
Assist in procurement tasks, including vendor proposals and purchase orders.
Join the AWS global on-call schedule to deliver technical support to in-service data centers.
Support commissioning activities for control projects within our facilities.
Review and refine controls sequences of operation (SOO) and collaborate with design teams for necessary revisions.
Develop and modify control logic programming and user interfaces.
Manage deliverables across various stakeholders while navigating and resolving challenges.
Oversee financial aspects of BMS and EPMS service contracts.
Regularly visit data centers for troubleshooting and vendor supervision, ensuring compliance with project designs and local regulations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) along with significant controls experience.
Extensive experience in industrial controls within critical environments.
Proven project or vendor management experience in construction and execution.
