Machine Operator

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner to ensure production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) before the start of a shift

Operate machinery according to company safety and quality standards

Monitor production processes and ensure products meet specifications

Conduct routine checks, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions

Load raw materials and unload finished products

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Document production output, machine issues, and downtime

Follow company procedures, health and safety guidelines, and wear PPE as required

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in machine operation or a manufacturing environment preferred

Basic math and measurement skills

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals (if applicable)

Physical stamina and strength (lifting, standing for long periods)

Strong attention to detail and safety

Preferred Skills:

Forklift certification (if applicable)

Mechanical aptitude or technical training

Experience with [CNC machines, injection molding, packaging equipment, etc.]

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a manufacturing/production environment

May require overtime, night shifts, or weekend work

Exposure to noise, dust, and machinery

Standing for a prolonged period of time

Lift, Push and Pull up to 50 lbs.
