Data Center Material Handler Phoenix, AZ

Nexeo HR is hiring Material Handlers to join a fast-paced, tech-forward logistics team at a world-class data center in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with server components and infrastructure, supporting daily warehouse operations such as inventory tracking, build prep, and component installation.

This is a long-term opportunity with a company that promotes from within. Upon permanent hire, team members receive a $1/hour raise and are considered for advancement into lead and supervisory roles.

Ideal candidates bring experience in data center logistics, inventory control, or warehouse operations, and are detail-driven, tech-savvy, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

Load/unload inbound and outbound freight, ensuring documentation accuracy

Conduct visual and physical quality inspections of all incoming and outgoing parts

Perform cycle counts, inventory tracking, and stock replenishment using inventory systems

Use laser measuring tools to precisely install and place server racks

Assemble and cable electronic components per schematics and diagrams

Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, straddle stackers, and pallet jacks

Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in accordance with 5S and safety standards

Collaborate cross-functionally to meet operational timelines and shipment accuracy

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, data center logistics, or inventory management

Strong technical aptitude, computer literacy, and ability to follow precise documentation

Experience with RF scanners, inventory software, and Microsoft Excel preferred

Skilled in operating electric pallet jacks and various material handling tools

Ability to lift 50–100+ lbs and work on your feet for extended 10-hour shifts

Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

High school diploma or GED

Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as required

Must pass a 10-year national background check and drug screening

Pay

$19.50 - $20.50 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM OT As Needed

*Must be available & willing to work overtime on weekdays & Saturdays as needed.
