Job Description

The Manager of Data & Analytics will serve as the technical product owner of the Variety Data Platform (VDP)—a centralized data ecosystem that enables enterprise-wide access to trusted, standardized data. The VDP will support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency through reporting, automation, predictive modeling, and machine learning.

This role will lead the effort to consolidate and standardize existing enterprise data sources—including but not limited to the General Ledger, Store/JDA, Catalyst, King3, UKG, ANT, and Trimble—into a single source of truth. The D&A Manager will also design and deliver reporting tools and applications that drive measurable improvements in business performance.

This role reports to the Head of Finance and Analytics and will collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners in IT, Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, HR, and Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance Enablement

· Aligns data and analytics priorities with business goals.

· Understands key challenges and opportunities and delivers solutions that drive results.

Data Integration & Analytics

· Leads efforts to ingest, cleanse, standardize, and consolidate enterprise data.

· Performs advanced analysis to generate insights and actionable recommendations.

· Integrates manual and structured data sets to support comprehensive reporting.

Reporting & Visualization

· Develops automated, scalable reports using Power BI and other tools.

· Monitors adoption and effectiveness, iterating to maximize business value.

Project Leadership

· Defines, scopes, and executes analytics projects with clear timelines and objectives.

· Engages stakeholders proactively and communicates progress and roadblocks.

· Demonstrates strong decision-making in ambiguous or evolving environments.

Technical & Strategic Guidance

· Serves as a trusted subject matter expert in data strategy, tooling, and best practices.

· Advises business partners on how to leverage data and automation to support their goals.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

· Advanced SQL proficiency (Required)

· Python proficiency for data pipelining, manipulation and automation (Required)

· Strong communication skills—both written and verbal

· Demonstrated success leading cross-functional data projects

· Expertise in Power BI and automated reporting workflows

· Proven ability to consolidate and model data from disparate systems

· Familiarity with iSeries / AS400 (Preferred)
