Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our Foundry Team to cut metals to specifications using industrial saws. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality products by accurately cutting metal components and maintaining equipment for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate band saws, circular saws, and other cutting equipment to process metal castings.

Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to ensure precise cuts.

Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards are met.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of saws and work area.

Follow all safety guidelines and wear required protective equipment.

Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a foundry or manufacturing environment preferred.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.

Comfortable working in a hot, physically demanding environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.

Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
