Job Description

We're Hiring: Machine Press Helpers to join our growing team in Rome, Georgia.

Shift: Nights 7pm-7 am

Compensation: $17.50-$24.00

Competitive hourly pay + shift differential $1.50 for hours working on nights 7pm-7am

$1,500 sign-on bonus (paid in two installments)

In this role you will...

As a Press Machine Helper, you will be responsible to assist the operator in all the functions required to produce a quality product and to do the work in a safe manner by following company policies and procedures. They are responsible for ensuring that the product does not become contaminated in any way and the equipment is maintained in a manner that ensures that it operates as designed and is safe at all times

Responsibilities include:

Assist with press setup and operation

Load and prepare raw material rolls for production

Retrieve ink, plate cylinders, and components for upcoming jobs

Monitor ink viscosity and press quality during runs

Clean and maintain press equipment to meet safety and food safety standards

Label and handle waste, including hazardous waste materials

Keep your workstation organized and compliant with SQF food safety requirements

What We're Looking For:

Reliability and a strong work ethic

Ability to work night shifts on a 3/2 rotating schedule

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Commitment to safety and quality standards

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus, but not required

Lift up to 50 lbs
