Title of Position Sous Chef
Job Description: TheSous Chefworks closely with the Executive Chef in managing the entire kitchen operations for the hotel to include daily service, holiday menus, group functions, and special events. TheSous Chefis responsible for assisting with the management of day-to-day operations of the culinary department, upholding service standards, and helping to meet and exceed profit goals. TheSous Chefwill also be responsible for ordering, receiving, and proper handling of products, developing new menu ideas, meeting with clients when appropriate, training staff, and ensuring that all product represents our high standards.

Qualifications:
TheSous Chefmust have a minimum of 3 years of related culinary experience in a high-volume atmosphere.
TheSous Chefmust have experience in inventory/cost controls, fiscal planning, and knowledge of profit and loss reporting.
TheSous Chefmust also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
TheSous Chefmust have experience with banquets, as well as a la carte service.
TheSous Chefshould have open availability and be available for the operations.
TheSous Chefmust have a passion for developing and training staff.
