We partner with property owners, architects, and government agencies to deliver high-impact, regulation-driven solutions that make buildings smarter, more efficient, and future-ready.We are currently seeking an Energy Modeler with at least 1-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful projects related to NYC's energy and sustainability goals.Responsibilities:

Develop and calibrate whole-building energy models using software such as eQuest, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, or IES-VE

Support energy code compliance (ASHRAE, IECC), LEED documentation, and NYC Local Law 97 carbon analysis

Analyze building system performance and identify energy-saving opportunities

Collaborate with energy auditors, engineers, and sustainability consultants

Prepare clear, concise reports and modeling summaries for clients and regulatory agencies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Building Science, or a related field

1-2 years of experience in energy modeling, building performance analysis, or sustainability consulting

Familiarity with NYC energy codes, LEED, and Local Laws (LL97, LL87) is a plus

Experience with Excel, AutoCAD, and building system drawings

Strong written and verbal communication skills

EIT certification or pursuit of CEM/BEMP credential is a plus

Job Details:

Location: Flushing, NY (Preferred)

Type: Full-time

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: Occasional local site visits (up to 25%)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
