Controls Engineer
Description:
Were seeking a qualified Controls Engineer for a long-term onsite role supporting a manufacturing facility in Columbus, Mississippi. This position is expected to last at least two years, with no travel required. Youll work directly at the plant, focusing on migrating legacy control systems and implementing new HMI/SCADA functionality.
Your Responsibilities:
Migrate PLC code from Toshiba to Allen Bradley ControlLogix
Develop and deploy HMI/SCADA solutions using Ignition
Collaborate with plant personnel and engineering teams
Ensure clear documentation and reliable system performance
Must-Have Experience:
Strong proficiency with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs
Hands-on experience with Ignition HMI/SCADA
Solid English communication skills
Comfortable working 1st shift, up to 45 hrs/week
? No Toshiba experience needed
