Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst position.Job Description: Analysts leverage data to identify market and business trends, helping companies boost profits and efficiency.

They can work directly for a company or as consultants, analyzing large data sets to detect trends and communicating these insights to the organization.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with teams to achieve objectives.

Create and maintain technical and design documentation.

Conduct system analysis and resolve problems.

Analyze software for configuration and performance tuning opportunities.

Develop and manage data and process models.

Apply modern testing methods to ensure application accuracy and reliability.

Provide technical support for testing and implementation.

Contribute to program design, coding, and test walk-through meetings, offering insights on technical standards and requirements.

Support State Portal DataMart reports, including defect repair, maintenance, and production operations.

Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of software issues.

Develop and test code/scripts to enhance application reliability and performance.

Required Skills: Proficiency in Informatica 10.5.

Experience with report development in Cognos Analytics 11.1.

Knowledge of Unix cron and shell scripting.

Ability to write moderate to advanced SQL queries.

Extensive experience with Oracle 19.

Basic understanding of star schemas and dimensional data structures.

Exceptional technical writing skills.

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with TIERS or HHSC Programs and Types of Assistance.
