Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role plays a critical part in delivering robust applications that meet business needs across various domains. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team environment, leveraging modern Java technologies to drive innovation and technical excellence.

Software Requirements

Required Skills:

Java programming language proficiency (latest LTS versions preferred)

Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts

Experience with development environments like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, or NetBeans

Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server

Preferred Skills:

Experience with microservices architecture

Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with version control tools like Git

Agile development methodology experience

Overall Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient Java-based applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Keep current with emerging Java technologies and incorporate relevant innovations.

Ensure code quality through peer reviews and adherence to standards.

Develop and maintain Java applications based on project specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Write and execute unit tests to ensure application stability.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE) are a plus.
