CoWorx Staffing Services is looking for a Finance Consultant for Cypress, CA. The Finance Consultant reports to the Assistant Controller and is responsible for assisting various projects with system transition to account reconciliations. This role requires strong knowledge of financial principles, strong background in finance, and system integration, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and financial stakeholders.

Location: Cypress, CA

Hours: 8:30 am- 5 pm Monday-Friday

Project length: 9 months

Job Duties:

Assist in the preparation of data migration with the Defi Solutions Servicing and Odessa platform.

Reconcile all migration transactions and resolve any discrepancies or variances identified during the transitioning reconciliation process.

Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues and discrepancies related to reconciliation.

Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all reconciliations and related financial records.

Assist the Assistant Controller and Controller with pulling the supporting documentation for quarterly and annual audits.

Other duties as assigned

Decision Making Responsibility

Employee will be directed as to the tasks to be completed from the Assistant Controller and from time to time from the Controller.

Employee will provide expert advice to management and will exercise professional judgement when discrepancies arise, subject to review with management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline required

5+ years of financial services/captive finance related experience

Self-motivated, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Solid understanding of finance accounting principles

Ability to work on a team and collaborate with stakeholders

Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills

Must also be able to work independently, with a high degree of accuracy, in a fast-paced environment

Strong organization, interpersonal and project management skills

Excellent technical abilities, including Excel, Access, Business Objects, SAP, PowerPoint, Oracle a plus
