Overview
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic to support Department of Defense (DoD) programs and projects. The position requires at least 2 years of experience in cost analysis/cost estimating. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills/experience.
Responsibilities
Contribute to and/or conduct cost analyses and cost estimates for Life Cycle Cost Estimates, Program Office budgets, Contract Proposals, and other cost products as requested
Conduct monthly/quarterly analysis on cost-related CDRLs submitted by industry partners
Provide analytical support for program controls and reporting, and financial execution and budgets
Coordinate and defend results with and across other organizations and contractors Skills Required
24 semester hours of quantitative course work (mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, chemistry, etc.) to include three hours of college level calculus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g. ACEIT, Crystal Ball)
Some level of experience in life-cycle cost estimate development, risk/uncertainty analysis, and model documentation
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices pertaining to cost estimating
Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR)
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development with MIL-STD-881
Experience with proposal analysis and preparing cost-related Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
DoD Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000/Year depending on experience and qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
