We're seeking a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to drive complex infrastructure and facility projects from concept to reality. You'll lead the structural and civil engineering scope on a major nuclear project, serving as both a technical expert and a team leader. From design to execution, your work will ensure that what we build is resilient, code-compliant, and built to last - while coordinating closely with a range of disciplines to deliver fully integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead structural design and analysis for buildings, industrial facilities, and critical civil infrastructure.
Serve as the authority on structural systems, mentoring junior engineers and reviewing high-stakes deliverables.
Oversee and coordinate the work of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor, ensuring compliance with design intent, safety, schedule, and quality expectations.
Ensure all work aligns with key industry codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including architects, and geotechnical engineers - to deliver cohesive, high-performance designs.
Review and approve detailed calculations, construction drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
Perform site visits, field assessments, and structural inspections throughout design and construction phases.
Anticipate, assess, and resolve technical challenges.

Ideal qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
6+ years of progressively responsible experience in civil/structural engineering.
Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale projects on multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Licenses & Certifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
(Structural Engineer SE license preferred, where applicable).
Skills and Competencies:
Strong expertise in structural design and analysis software such as SAP2000, STAAD. Pro, ETABS, RISA, or ANSYS.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards including IBC, AISC, ACI, and ASCE 7.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to lead teams and interact with clients.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
