Data Entry Clerk

Approved Transportation and Warehousing, Ltd. has an immediate opening for a qualified Data Entry Clerk to support our Accounting Team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented with 1 year of data entry in a high-volume environment. To apply for this position, please reply to this ad.

Pay: $19.00 an hour

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Entering data into the central database

Cataloging the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference

Retrieving data as requested

Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary

Review data for deficiencies or errors

Collaborate with other team members to ensure data integrity.

Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents

Uploading documents into a database

Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after uploading date electronically

Receives, screens, and routes visitors and drivers via Axis Companion

Assist with other administrative tasks as needed. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Basic accounting knowledge and excellent data entry skills required

Type in data quickly and efficiently

Strong attention to detail

Flexibility with work schedule

Excellent attendance EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent

Microsoft Office proficiency

1+ years' experience in data entry PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
