Worksite Location: Waite Park, MN

Compensation: $120,000-$130,000 annually What you'll do as the VP of Business Operations:

Own and improve core business operations across Finance, HR, IT, and Planning by transitioning responsibilities from the CEO and implementing scalable systems

Develop and lead internal operating rhythms, including forecasting, annual/quarterly planning, budgeting, KPI tracking, and Board/lender reporting

Build and manage a high-performing Business Operations team, including oversight of direct reports in IT and Accounting, and future hiring needs

Drive financial clarity and accountability by owning the 3-statement model, scenario planning, bonus plan calculations, and monthly financial reporting

Oversee key operational initiatives like PCI compliance, vendor oversight, treasury optimization, and internal IT system improvements

Elevate the employee experience through compensation strategy, onboarding systems, L&D initiatives, and career leveling frameworks

Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, bringing forward ideas, challenging assumptions, and ensuring operational alignment with company goals

Serve as a visible and active member of the Leadership Team, helping shape company culture, execution discipline, and institutional investor confidence What you'll bring to the VP of Business Operations role:

High-performance experience in consulting, investment banking, Big 4, or strategic project management roles

Strong financial acumen with the ability to lead forecasting, budgeting, and Board-level reporting with precision and confidence

Demonstrated track record of building systems and teams from the ground up in fast-moving or scaling environments

Exceptional problem-solving and systems-thinking ability, with a clear framework-driven approach to operational challenges

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and push back on executive leadership when needed

Hands-on leadership style with the willingness to execute at all levels-from modeling in Excel to managing vendor escalations

High accountability and ambition, with a proven ability to deliver results under pressure and with limited structure
