About the Role:

A critical role at Carlton Construction that drives the revenue stream by creating and managing the right market messages, engaging with the right client targets, and with the help of the entire team, win and keep the business. You will be at the front of our customer-facing efforts and part of the leadership team. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running and ensure we are understanding and delivering what our customers need.

What you’ll do:

· Design and execute a data-driven sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives

· Engage and manage our client relationships across the whole sales cycle (from nurturing leads, to repeat business)

· Manage the sales pipeline in our CRM to forecast, monitor, track, and report sales activity

· Manage all prime contract negotiations and execution

· Clearly identify, understand, and manage client needs and expectations to properly direct sales efforts

· Be the prime for managing, enhancing, and promoting the Carlton brand.

· Lead, manage and hold marketing personnel accountable for marketing efforts in all media, including web, social, and in-person

· Maintain a presence in industry trade organizations to support their missions, stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and provide a conduit for expanding the Carlton network and brand

· Manage all proposal responses from inception to completion with a “Details Matter” approach

What you bring:

· An outgoing professional and polished demeanor exhibiting confidence, credibility, and authenticity

· 7-10 years of experience in business development or sales (Construction industry knowledge is preferred)

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field

· Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building client relationships

· Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot) and sales & market analytics

· Have exceptional presentation and communication skills with attention to detail

· Self-motivated and equally effective working independently and as a member of a team while being humble, hungry, and people-smart
