Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Hybrid position - 2x/week in the office located in Vienna, Virginia
Join our team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to collaborate with DevOps engineers, developers, and cloud engineers in planning, designing, and developing test automation solutions that support our product teams. In this role, you will develop sophisticated test automation for integration, regression, and functional testing to validate software quality and ensure compliance with system requirements and client practices and policies. You will analyze functional and technical requirements and may be responsible for testing web application User Interfaces, APIs, Mainframe or Windows applications while participating in the development of test automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications
Experience implementing cloud native test automation tools and defining frameworks and methods that increase efficiency and reduce Data Center footprint
Ability to design and implement robust and scalable test automation solutions within an Azure DevOps and CI/CD environment to improve the quality of functional, regression, and system tests
Collaborative approach when working with cross-functional teams in agile settings to understand business requirements for developing test automation that supports DevOps and CI/CD
Strong experience with agile methodologies
Experience in streamlining continuous test processes that improve product delivery
Strong development skills in core Java concepts and Selenium Test Automation Framework development
Experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, Gherkin, and XPath
Experience developing scripts to perform comprehensive automated testing on multiple platforms including web based, client server, and mainframe
Experience developing test automation for SOA Services and SOAP/REST APIs
Experience with Azure Repos, GitHub, Bitbucket or other software repositories
Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or Bamboo
Strong understanding of dependency management and build tools such as Maven
Proficiency in keyword, data driven, and behavior-driven test automation development
Experience with test management tools such as Azure Test Plans, Jira, OpenText ALM
Ability to develop and maintain reusable components, functions, methods, and libraries to reduce maintenance and increase efficiency and scalability
Ability to adhere to Software Engineering disciplines

Experience writing test automation code with IntelliJ and/or Visual Studio Code
Experience with databases (Microsoft SQL Server is preferred)
ASTQB CTFL or CTAL-TAE Certification
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of banking/financial industry standards and practices
