**Job Title: Logistics Coordinator**
**Job Description**
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will perform a wide variety of material support activities that ensure the timely delivery of products to customers. You will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and construction of plant equipment through transportation, product conveyance, multitasking, and operation of material handling equipment. Your role will involve clerical or record-keeping activities related to the material flow of all goods and parts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform tasks involved in receiving, locating, issuing, kitting, preparing, and moving materials such as raw materials, tools, parts, drawings, equipment, and supplies to facilitate production processes.
+ Use power or hand-operated tools and equipment to check hardware and tools for damage, route broken or obsolete items for disposition, and verify quality of incoming hardware.
+ Enter and retrieve data from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and coordinate customer work requests using the facilities trouble call reporting system.
+ Operate motive equipment of all sizes, including mobile cranes, and utilize proper equipment to protect parts and equipment.
+ Load and unload air cargo, check condition of material handling equipment, perform routine maintenance, report malfunctions, and refuel equipment.
+ Verify part numbers, part counts, and similar information of in-process materials.
+ Communicate effectively with management staff, support functions, employees, vendors, and outside shipping personnel.
+ Train other employees in the same job classification as needed.
+ Ensure safe operation of equipment, operate large assembly moving equipment, perform railcar brakeman and hook tender responsibilities.
+ Plan and arrange servicing and maintenance for vehicles and cranes, prepare work orders, and maintain logs and records.
+ Maintain constant communication during emergencies and provide transportation services.
+ Operate motive power vehicles such as rail car switch engines, cargo loaders, die handlers, forklifts, and mobile boom cranes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Willingness and ability to work any shift.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance and Customer Program Access.
+ Pass a vision exam including color identification.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Construction experience, including working from heights and around heavy equipment.
+ Heavy equipment experience with Skid Steer, Forklift, Backhoe, Tractor, Bulldozer, Excavator, Directional Boring, and Pulling Units.
+ Rigging experience, including hook tending.
+ Crane experience.

**Work Environment**
Work in a facility equipped with advanced technologies and equipment, including motive power vehicles and cranes. The role may involve operating heavy machinery and working in various conditions. Flexibility in shift patterns is required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
