The Opportunity:

The CSfC DevOps Engineer will assume a pivotal role in refining and automating CACI’s suite of Archon Secure solutions. This position involves being a product owner who will focus on enhancing the software development and upkeep of existing and future technological solutions. The role entails a thorough analysis of current product offerings, followed by the development of solutions aimed at bolstering security, operational efficiency, deployment strategies, and the integration of new features. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a highly skilled technical team comprised of solution engineers and developers. This team will collaborate closely to modify and author new code to align with the evolving needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

The CSfC DevOps Engineer will be tasked with a detailed examination of the existing Archon solutions with the aim of devising and implementing enhanced procedures and methodologies to optimize their performance within the strict parameters of a U.S. Government technology framework. This process will involve a thorough evaluation of the current systems, followed by the formulation of strategic steps and operational processes designed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while adhering to the stringent security and compliance standards mandated by the U.S. Government.

The CSfC DevOps Engineer will be responsible for operating and crafting playbooks for various automation platforms, such as Red Hat Ansible, NTS Mantle, and HashiCorp Terraform. This role involves a deep understanding of these platforms and their capabilities, allowing the engineer to create detailed and effective playbooks that automate and streamline various tasks and processes within the organization. The playbooks will be designed to enhance operational efficiency, minimize manual intervention, and ensure consistency in the deployment and management of infrastructure and applications across the organization.

The CSfC DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in developing playbooks that directly support tactical warfighter operations use cases, particularly those involving mission communications kits. This involves creating detailed and highly specialized playbooks that are tailored to the unique needs and challenges of the warfighter on the ground. These playbooks will focus on automating and optimizing the deployment, configuration, and management of mission communications kits, ensuring that they are fully operational and ready for use in a wide range of operational scenarios. By doing so, the CSfC DevOps Engineer will contribute significantly to the effectiveness and readiness of tactical warfighter operations.

The CSfC DevOps Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive troubleshooting services and expert technical guidance to a wide range of stakeholders within the organization. This includes Information Technology Operations teams, company management, and departmental clients. The engineer will serve as a critical resource for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, providing timely and accurate information, and offering strategic advice to support the effective operation and management of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of the organization's technology stack, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to a diverse audience.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience performing complex technology analysis related to Information Technology and Information Security, within a U.S. Government environment.

Deep understanding of version controls within Git and Bitbucket

Subject Matter Expert utilizing Nautobot whom should possess a deep understanding of the Nautobot platform and its functionalities, including its capabilities for network automation, inventory management, and data visualization.

There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Secret clearance.

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $98,500-$206,800
