Job Title: Senior Welder/Fabricator

Location: Lancaster

Pay: $36.00 to $50.00 (depending on experience) / Job Class: Temp

Summary: The Senior Welder/Fabricator will support the development of the systems, required for their design and to build space facilities.

Essential Functions:

Weld Structures

Operate mechanized and robotic welding equipment

Fabricate and Weld tooling

Inspect Fabricated Parts

Perform Class ‘A’ quality aluminum welding

Diagnose weld defects, corrective actions, both on repairs and process optimization

Work with Engineering to improve tools and problem solve

Material Handling of raw goods and finished weldments

Experience with a wide variety of metal fabrication equipment such as vertical bandsaw, sanding equipment, and capability to efficiently set up jig tablesQualifications:

5+ years of experience with Class ‘A’ TIG

5+ years of experience with fabrication and forming

Demonstrate a high level of expertise in aluminum welding

Experience reading engineering blue prints

Familiar working with x-ray technicians and other NDT techniques

Automated/robotic welding experience Preferred VPPAW
