Floral Designer +2yr. experience

Job Description

Belle Fiori is looking to grow our team with the addition of an experienced designer. Candidates will be responsible for creating and executing seasonal feature designs for our website and displays for our sales floor. This position will partner with management for event and wedding design and set up.

This is a full time, permanent position. Standard shifts are from 8:00AM-5:00 PM Monday- Fridays, and 8:00 AM- 2 PM on Saturdays, extra hours during holidays and for events.

The ideal candidate will have:

Two years or more of floral design experience

Retail flower shop or grocery floral department experience

Wedding and event experience in the Milwaukee area

Working knowledge of the Teleflora Dove POS system

A working understanding of the floral delivery process

Ability to lift 40lbs. without assistance

Valid drivers license (required)

Job Duties Include:

Designing fresh flower arrangements for daily deliveries, sympathy occasions, and wedding/event work

Ability to design to specific recipes

Creating multiple delivery routes daily and confirming their completion

Greeting and helping clients

Answering the phone taking daily orders

Proficiency at sales and cross-selling add-ons

Willingness to step in as a floral assistant during busy times

Maintaining a strong general knowledge of flowers and plants to help clients with selections

Willingness to work occasional overtime hours during peak holiday times (Valentine's Day, wedding season, Christmas)
