Description:

As a Wireless Network Engineer, you'll work closely with the engineering, Service, and Installation teams and will be expected to build and maintain a strong and efficient network infrastructure. You are also responsible for designing, troubleshooting IoT wired/wireless networks, implementing, and maintaining networks for the storage facilities.

Responsibilities

Strategize and design the storage facility’s Wired and wireless network infrastructure, aligning plans with business needs.

Design and implementation of wireless and wired networks.

Monitoring network performance and guaranteeing peak performance.

Diagnosing and addressing network faults as soon as possible.

Routine maintenance and upgrades are performed to avoid downtime and security concerns.

Creating and updating extensive documentation on network setups, procedures, and troubleshooting procedures.

End-user technical assistance and collaboration with engineering, service, tech support and installer teams to resolve issues.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

5+ years of experience in the required field.

Knowledge of networking protocols and technology.

Knowledge of wireless protocols and technology.

Knowledge of wireless 2.4GHz mesh and 800/900MHz hopping networks

Knowledge of network hardware (Cell booster, routers, switches, and firewalls) and software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills are required for efficient collaboration and user assistance.

30% travel.
