Job Title: Fabricator

Job Overview: We are seeking a entry level Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and repair of metal structures and components.

Responsibilities:

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine fabrication requirements.

Measure, cut, and shape metal components using a variety of tools and equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding torches.

Inspect finished assemblies to verify conformance with quality standards and specifications.

Perform repairs and modifications to existing metal structures as needed.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to optimize fabrication processes and solve technical challenges.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Continuously monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues or deviations from plans.

Assist in the development and implementation of new fabrication techniques and procedures.

Forklift experience.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, welding, and shaping.

Experience operating a variety of tools and equipment used in metal fabrication.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.

Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Certification or training in welding and metal fabrication is desirable.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions for extended periods. Heavy lifting will be required.
