Job Title: 1st Shift Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled machinist who can read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints, and operate mills, lathes, and other machining equipment. The role involves running a Proto-Trak Mill, loading and securing materials into machinery, using conversational programming on CNC machines, and checking completed parts using precision instruments.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Operate mills, lathes, and other machining equipment, specifically a Proto-Trak Mill.
Load and secure materials into machinery.
Utilize conversational programming on CNC machines.
Check completed parts using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and tape measures.
Debur or sandblast finished parts.Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating CNC mills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with calipers, gauges, and conversational programming.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of machining experience.
Capability to understand and change out machining tools.
Flexibility to assist in other areas of the building, including assembly of parts created.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
