An employer in San Antonio is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Foreman to oversee utility projects, focusing on electrical infrastructure in installation, maintenance, and repair roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical PVC installations and be skilled in managing field operations.
On a daily basis, you will supervise and lead a crew of 6-8 members, ensuring projects are delivered on time and timekeeping is accurate. You will read and interpret blueprints, providing clear instructions to your team. Locating existing utilities and performing hydrovacking to identify underground utilities will be part of your routine tasks. You will also be responsible for locating elevations and shooting grades, as well as understanding and managing right of way and easements.
Your competence in trench and manhole shoring procedures, including the use of trench safety equipment and manhole braces, will be crucial. You will work closely with the project manager to plan and coordinate work, maintaining a 3-week schedule. Effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members is essential.
