As a claims adjuster trainee, you will play a vital role in helping customers return to normalcy after an accident. This role focuses on building relationships with customers over the phone, allowing you to develop vital communication skills in a fast-paced setting.
In our supportive environment, you will learn how to manage a caseload of claims efficiently, guiding each one from start to finish. With comprehensive training on property damage and insurance contracts, you'll gain the confidence and knowledge necessary to adjust claims independently.
This is a hybrid position, where you will work in-office two days a week, with the flexibility to choose your work location for the remaining three days, whether at home or in the office. This setup lasts for 12 months and will allow you to establish valuable relationships with your leaders and colleagues. Post-training, your in-office days may vary based on business needs.
Duties & Responsibilities (upon completion of training)
Determine coverage
Assess liability to establish fault
Conduct interviews with customers, claimants, and witnesses
Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs
Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims
Must-Have Qualifications
Three years of relevant work experience OR
Bachelor's degree OR
Two years relevant work experience and an associate degree
Schedule: Training will occur Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm for the first four weeks, transitioning to 9 am to 6 pm thereafter.

Compensation
After training and passing necessary tests, earn $52,500-$56,000/year; during training, you will be paid hourly based on this annual salary.
Potential gainshare annual cash incentive payment of up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
