We seek a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team (locations include Burnsville, MN; Faribault, MN; Houston, TX; Pointe-Claire, CA; Charlotte, NC). The role involves taking products from prototype to series production, focusing on power distribution, test equipment, backup power products, and energy storage technologies. Its an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to solve complex problems with innovative solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams.

Design, prototype, develop, and commercialize products like loadbanks, generator stations, switchboards, switchgear, transfer switches, etc.

Design wiring schematics and specify equipment for power systems.

Create and review wiring diagrams, layouts, and BOMs.

Define testing plans for new products.

Lead electrical design during product development, including component selection and qualification.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

5+ years experience in AC electrical system product design.

Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, EPlan).

Experience with power distribution equipment design and documentation.

Ability to specify and validate electrical components.

Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
